Sonido Sur means South Sound. It’s a musical storytelling of native indigenous wisdom transferred orally by the still-alive South American communities. Sonido Sur reminds us of our law of origin: that our identity comes from nature and that we are all family.
The performance evolves from a life shares between the ancient wisdom of South America and the west. Between the mind and the heart, between the spirits of the eagle and the condor. The stories arise from the artist’s Felipe Duarte personal path with native indigenous families of the Muisca, Arhuacos and Kichwa in South America.
It carries a responsibility to share through oral tradition and music native the knowledge of the Earth, Moon, Sun, medicine, nature, the feminine and the masculine, and different manifestations of subtle energies that move our intentions and keep developing humanity.
