KSI Tampere, the King Sejong Institute Tampere, is a new culture center based in Tampere. The goal for KSI Tampere is to provide high quality and accessible Korean language and culture education in Finland and to build new cultural cooperation between Finland and Korea. The institute opened its doors in September 2022, the first in Finland and the Nordic countries.
The King Sejong Institute Foundation (KSIF), run by the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, oversees and maintains the activities of 244 King Sejong Institutes in more than 80 countries. KSI Tampere’s partners are Vimmart Inclusive Art School (Finland), Wonkwang Digital University (Korea), ACCAC Global (Finland), Samdong International (Korea) and Pirkanmaa welfare area Pirha.
